About Bluejays

Welcome to Bluejays

‘Enjoying Netball through inclusivity and with community since 1999'


We welcome players of all ages and abilities. At Bluejays, our emphasis is on developing the netball skills of individuals and teams, whilst having fun! We pride ourselves on our sportsmanship and on fostering and developing a love of netball in all of our players.


Bluejays also offer pathways for Umpires & Coaches, so please get in contact if interested.

Bluejays commenced in 1999 based at the Western District Netball Association and has seen many changes over the last 26 years. Our equipment was totally destroyed in the floods in 2011 including any items referring to our history. 

We pride ourselves on being a family orientated club.  Friendship groups for those players who want to stay with their friends, or a chance to stretch for those who aim for higher grades.  

At Bluejays we aim to create a wonderful community, please come and meet us at our tent (known affectionately as the Taj Mahal) on Saturdays.


Weekly fixtures are held on Saturdays at Western Districts Netball Association Graceville from May to August/September between 8.00am - 4.30pm for players aged 6 years - adult.  

There is something for everyone - games include:

·         10 week skills program for 5 & 6 year olds.

·         Modified games for 6-10 years as part of the Woolworths NetSetGo Program

·         Junior competitions of all levels for 11-15 years

·         Senior competitions of all levels for 16 years to Adults
